Alex Ravenscroft has always loved telling stories, but until recently, they’ve always been for her eyes only.

For over 20 years, Alex has lived and breathed the sport of artistic roller skating. She’s been a competitor, a coach, and an official, and she always knew that one day, she wanted to marry together her love for the sport with her love for writing.

For as long as she can remember, Alex has wanted to be an author. There were times when she would stand in a bookshop, surrounded by hardcovers and paperbacks, and dream of the day she could hold a book in her hand, with her name on it. The trick was going to be overcoming the anxiety of allowing others to read it.

During the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, she decided it was time. With not much else to do but stay at home, her artistic roller skating career at a halt, she made it her goal to finally finish the manuscript for her debut novel, a Contemporary New Adult Fiction about the sport she loved.
